There are two mailing lists relating to FreeNet - an announcement list used for posting announcements about FreeNet and applications that use it, and a general discussion list for users of FreeNet.
To join the announcement list, send a mail message to majordomo@jake.educom.com.au with a body containing the following line:
subscribe freenet-announce
To join the discussion list, send a mail message to majordomo@jake.educom.com.au with a body containing the following line:
subscribe freenet
Note that you can subscribe to both at once by placing both lines in a single message to the subscription address.
